Sol Central Mediaeval Day an Outstanding Success
Knights storm the town to raise cash
Knights in shining armour rode into Northampton's Sol Central on Saturday, March 8. The mediaeval Day saw 1,000 people turn out to watch 14th century men on horseback jousting in the streets and find eaters and jugglers perform. All the characters were brought to life by the Mediaeval Combat society, the event aimed to raise funds for Cancer Research, Northamptonshire's Animals In Need and Bliss, the premature baby charity.
